The Philofluid Research Group is excited to announce that Marco Boetti, one of our distinguished Early Stage Researchers (ESR 7) in the COMPLETE H2020 project, has been appointed as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC).
Throughout his time with the COMPLETE project, Marco has demonstrated exceptional dedication and expertise. We are thrilled to see him advance in his academic career and continue his impactful research at CMCC.
Marco has recently joined the Global Coastal Ocean (GOCO) Division of the CMCC Foundation, where he will be furthering his studies in ocean modeling. His work will focus on coastal oceanography processes, utilizing unstructured grid models to better understand the dynamics of these complex systems.
Marco’s academic journey has been impressive, having earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics from the University of Torino, followed by a Ph.D. from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Tel Aviv University. His doctoral research focused on turbulent/non-turbulent interfaces in stratified flows, underscoring his deep expertise in fluid dynamics and environmental systems.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Marco on this well-deserved appointment and wish him continued success in his future endeavors. His new role at CMCC is a testament to his hard work, passion, and scholarly achievements.
We look forward to seeing Marco’s future contributions to the field of oceanography and climate science!
